Born and raised in Prince George British Columbia, I grew up loving the outdoors and enjoyed many competitive sports influencing my spirit for adventure and desire to be better. I began my career in operational forestry and resource management, moving into landscape analysis supporting regional multi-stakeholder land use, to citizen-centred service delivery and senior executive management. I have been amazed reflecting on the situations I have been asked to lead, the arenas I have facilitated strategy and change, and the people who have impacted me along the way. I am truly grateful for the experiences I have had.
My wife and I are parents of three remarkable children, and the challenges of being a parent have framed my perspective on what success looks like: patience, unconditional love, failure, heartbreak, joy, adventure, and continuous improvement. Parenting provided me the utmost challenge of reflecting on who I am, how I choose to respond, and evolve as a person and professional in the face of adversity. Working through significant life challenges is something I leverage in my approach to work, life, coaching, and enables me to connect with people with impact.
I left my career for a period of time to support my wife's career and my family's goals in St Louis Missouri. Having coached competitive hockey for 8 years, I had a life changing experience of being a coach with the St Louis Blues Special Hockey program that catapulted my joy of helping shape others. Receiving the Coach of the Year Award in 2019 was a surprising highlight that recognized my joy of connecting with and supporting people. Having returned to Canada in 2021 I carry this transformational experience into my life.
Professionally, I am continually sought out as a trusted confidante, a mentor, a coach, and trusted leader and colleague.
I have more than 15 years experience leading organizations, teams, and programs for Indigenous communities, major industry, private consulting, and government.

I would say my specialty is coaching executive and leaders. I have a passion for supporting emerging leaders to gain confidence in their leadership abilities. My experiences in natural resource management, communications, technology, organizational development and transformation all centre around seeing the big picture and aligning leaders, people, and teams to help them achieve their personal and career goals.
My favourite hobby: long distance cycle touring. The mental fortitude required to navigate long distances, hourly decisions, safety, logistics and the physical and mental strength to achieve the goal is deliciously difficult.
